Bluesky, the rival to Jack Dorsey’s backed X, is changing the game by letting people check out posts on its platform without needing to log in. Users can now freely explore content through a public web view, eliminating the need for a login.
To join in and post on Bluesky, you need an invite. Jay Graber, who runs Bluesky, shared that they made Bluesky for everyone to chat about news, opinions, jokes and more in public. They are getting closer to this by letting people see posts without logging in through a public web view.
The platform now enables easy sharing of posts in individual or group chats. Graber emphasized the convenience, saying, “People can easily view Bluesky posts without being logged in. Sharing will be more convenient — whether it’s a joke you want to text a friend, or a post you want to embed in an article.”
Bluesky has a cool new look – they put a butterfly emoji logo instead of the old blue sky one. Graber, the person in charge, said it is like a butterfly coming out, showing they are changing. Bluesky posts have always been public, but now you can see them on the app without logging in. They are slowly unfolding and getting even better.
Despite remaining an invite-only app, Bluesky has successfully reached 2 million users. Guess what? Bluesky got even cooler! They added fancy tools to automatically find stuff that breaks the rules. It is a big deal as Bluesky keeps growing and finding new ways to be awesome in the social media world.
